Hi, whoever is reading this should read Nehemiah 4 first. This is how it related to me and my friends in real life, here, now, on earth. It’s the JIT, (jon int. translation) um, not really. Take a minute, think of the ‘wall’ as your church or fellowship and the ‘work’ in progress is for God’s kingdom. How does the enemy try to tear down your wall of faith? How will God over come this? No, not how, but when will you allow Him? Ask for His strength and you will concur the world. (john 16:33) * read me!
Then read this.
Opposition to the work…
1 Now when the Satan heard that we were building the wall, he was enraged and overcome with jealousy and he snarled at us. 2 In the presence of his angels and the army of darkness: “what are these feeble un equipped kids doing? Will they obey? Will they complete the huge task set before them? Will they revive hearts from out of our veils of confusion? Even those which have been scorched? 3 Doubt and Pride were beside the evil king; “Yes.” they replied, “if we can but sneak onto this wall they are building it will surely crumble”. 4 Hear our cries Lord. We are mocked because we obey you. Shield us from their ambush to return it upon themselves. Surrender them to be held captive in a land of slavery. 5 Do not hide their guilt, nor erase their shame from your eyes, those who provoke and shame you to anger in the presence of your servants.
6 So we build this wall. It is at half completion for our eyes are fixed on what is unseen; faith. 7 Then Pride, Doubt and their evil leader saw us hard at work renewing the dead to life and repairing the damage done, they were furious! 8 Together they plotted against the builders with plans of confusion. 9 We prayed. “Jehovah Sabaoth, hear our plea, grant us protection, we summon the armies of power entrusted to us against this darkness! day and night let it fight amongst us guarding us from lies. Amen.”
10 IN THE WORLD it was said: “the strength of those who bear the burden is failing. There is too much rubble, they wont be able to do this.” 11 Our enemy said: “They wont even see us coming before we are among them. We will kill them stopping the building of this hated wall!” 12 Then we heard the faithfull in truth come shouting “Return to us, come back. We must fight together.” 13 So, in the weakest parts of the work we stationed warriors with their platoons ready for battle. 14 I rose up proclaiming to the leaders; “Do not be afraid of the enemy. Remember the Lord who is mighty in battle- fight for your brothers, your daughters, your sons, wives and homes!”
The work resumes…
15 When the enemy realized what we knew through the revelation of God as He frustrated their plans, we returned to the work. 16 Now always there are some building up and some standing guard armed with truth. 17 The leaders stood watch and looked over the servant workers who with one hand worked, and with the other held their spear. 18 All of the builders kept their sword at his side while he was at work. The one with a trumpet stands beside me. 19 To the leaders: “This work is widely spread, we are separated along the wall distant from one another. 20 Whenever and wherever you hear this trumpet’s call, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.”
21 So we labor at this eternal task burdened unto us, day and night we hold spears ready for war never ceasing to keep watch. 22 I said to the workers: “Remain the night within the trumpets reach, we must labor by day and guard by night. When you hear its sound gather around those who are in need, no one gets left behind. 23 None of us, not even one can remove his robe of faith, weapons remain in our right hand.”
**Again, this is not a part of the actual Bible so don’t take it as scripture. Take is as a story of scripture applied to real life. Hoka? Good. by by.**
