Summer Missions Continue in Nicaragua

It was a little sad to leave Antigua and all of our new friends in Guatemalan. The little cobblestone city of Antigua grows on you with its rich culture, friendly people and incredible bakeries. I would recommend visiting Guatemala to anyone and everyone. During our stay we attended the Christian Spanish Academy and stayed with a local family. Check out http://www.learncsa.com/ if you’re interested.
On May 19th Craig Watson and I boarded the bus once again and started our journey back south. The bus ride from Guatemala to Nicaragua passes through El Salvador and Honduras. Since the bus ride last three days, so we decided to stay a few nights in La Libertad, El Salvador to surf the famous right hand point breaks. I won't get into it, but El Salvador is definitely the Wild West. Just stay in your room after dark and if you've never previously prayed to God for protection... it's a great place to begin exercising your faith. If you’re really not into prayer then I would suggest a hand gun and an armed Guard.
On May 22nd (my birthday), we returned to Nicaragua to continue in our mission work and prepare for another team to arrive from Florida. I've begun growing tomatoes and watermelons as the second stage of the Agua Viva well project. The 3rd stage will begin soon as we construct screen rooms for the vegetables and pipe water to the families.

Thank you ALL for your support,
Blessings,
Danny Cruden
